K'Mille - Love is Standing By My Side

K’Mille is a singer/songwriter, recording artist, actress and published author and has actively worked in the entertainment industry for over 10 years. KMille’s musical influences include Patty LaBelle, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Heart, Annie Lennox, Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight and Prince.

KMille’s music easily crosses over many genres. From R&B, Adult Contemporary, Club, mainstream Hip Hop to Inspirational and Contemporary Christian. KMille's lyrical prose is deep, moving and "Smart" at times. She always delivers a line in a unique, refreshing, hip, distinctive way. KMille has a refreshing and unexpected twist to her musical drama... KMille’s music and literary writings are hip, fresh and revelatory. Some of KMille’s musical releases include, “Alter My Perception”, “Alter Club Mix”, “Humbled Hearts” and “Love is Standing by my Side”.

K’Mille’s music and literary work relates to a broad audience, male and female, young and old. K’Mille has appeared in TV, Film –Major and Indie movies, Television Commercials and Music Videos. Some featured roles and background player work. Some TV shows include, “New York Undercover”, “Law and Order-SVU” and “Mercy” just to name a few. Some major film work as a background player, includes, “Borne Ultimatum” with Matt Damon, “Hitch”, with Will Smith as well as several other Indie movie background player work on, “Destination Fame” with Jordan Knight (New Kids on the Block), Joe Jackson (of the Jackson Family Fame), A. J Gil (First Season “American Idol” contestant, actor Cuba Gooding.

KMille has acted in a feature role in a major music video “Be a N**g* Too” which seemed a controversial issue for a music video during the early MTV era, which was refused airplay. This was for the recording artist NAS-("Hip Hop is Dead" artist). It touched on the matter and concern of racism in America.

KMille also has several years experience co-hosting an independent entertainment cable TV show in Waterbury, Connecticut USA.

KMille is the author of the book “Snatch Back” with Tate Publishing, with is a testimonial literary work, and is currently writing the screenplay for her upcoming movie production of the same name. KMille is first cousin to famous singer/actress Whitney Houston.

KMille was born in NYC USA and lived on Kelly Street in The Bronx. Her family moved to New Jersey USA where she currently resides.
