YOLANDA PARKER
Yolanda Parker is an American singer with a vocal style that compliments music genres from R&B, Jazz, Blues, Pop, Classical and Gospel. Her sweet sultry melodic sound is musical ear candythat will take audiences on a journey. Yolanda’s angelic vocal styling ranges from soprano to anearthy alto. Her voice, and her style, are her own.
Because of her distinct sound, Yolanda has worked with many great local artists and producers. She is currently in the studio working on her E.P, with Independent Soul Music Producer Raymond Barton. Yolanda’s first single "Together In Love" charted on a number of Soul Music Charts in the United Kingdom and other countries.
She has over 20 years in the business and has performed with multiple bands local to the Washington DC Metro area. She is passionate about her craft and pours everything she has into each performance. She brings class and elegance to any event and makes it her business to connect with her listening audience.
Yolanda has traveled nationally and internationally sharing her gift of music at festivals, schools, corporate events and political arenas as well as private engagements. One of the many lessons Yolanda has learned is the importance of singing from the heart, believing in yourself and knowing that God has a mighty plan and will Bless you abundantly.
The Soul Imprint Records is excited about the brand new R&B + Soul single release presented by Independent Soul Music Producer Raymond Barton. It is performed by Songstress Yolanda Parker. The track is entitled "Everything You Do Blows My Mind". Raymond says, "This is another chance to use my platform/label to present new and emerging R&B + Soul artists who deserve to be heard. I wrote this track in mind of the Stevie Wonder* penned track performed by Aretha Franklin called “Until You Come Back to Me.” I knew that I wanted to create a song with a long “R&B/Motown” type of title from back in the day that added to the allure of the track itself. Yolanda adds “I am so thrilled to have people hear the love I have for R&B + Soul music that we hope we have created on this track. It’s definitely a nice groove and I LOVE the bass line”

Independent Soul Music Producer Raymond Barton has helped to develop artists and their music for many years. He is a Producer, Songwriter, Music Video Director, Musician and more. He is a multi-instrumentalist who has worked in the studio or on stage on music videos shoots with Toni Braxton, Jada Pinkett Smith, Tamar Braxton, funk band Starpoint, Maysa, and many others. His main music production influences are Norman Connors, Quincy Jones, Luther Vandross and Stevie Wonder. He is a voting member of the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences which is the Grammy Awards Organization.
