Chris Ballin is back with his new solo single ‘Gotta Come My Way’ written by Chris Ballin and produced by Killagram.The single also mark’s Chris signing with Renegade Soul Records.

Chris Ballin is probably best known for his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Do it Right’ which was released to critical acclaim in the late’ 90s and is widely recognized as one of the finest recordings in the UKs music scene, according to Blues & Soul Magazine. Chris later found fame after featuring on two of Incognito’s albums ‘Beneath the Surface’ and ‘Inner Shade’. Having provided backing vocals for luminaries such as Luther Vandross and Tina Turner, Chris illustrates once again that he is a giant of an artist in his own right.

Chris Ballin was born in Nottingham, England with his musical journey beginning at the tender age of 8yrs, when he was a keen and active drummer. By the age of 10 years he had joined his first family band. By the age of 16years, Chris took centre stage as lead vocalist in a local band in Nottingham. His vocal talents began to shine as lead singer, performing on the club circuit in Nottingham. Chris was driven and moved to London to pursue his musical career. He was quickly snapped up to tour with many established European artists and bands to work as a featured lead vocalist and backing vocalists. At the time, Chris worked with Maxi Priest, Caron Wheeler (Soul to Soul), Candy Dulfer, Kim Wilde.

After Chris relaunched his solo career in 2019 he has developed an extensive catalogue of RnB soul tracks and is busy working on his album. ‘Gotta Come My Way’ is currently available on promo and will soon be on sale via all good digital outlets.
